This is a redesign of J.Lohr wine. J.Lohr’s brand is very traditional and boring. I wanted to redesign the labels to have a slicker look. I decided to use only type. I flexed my typography muscles by combining four very different type faces; Adobe Caslon, Copperplate, Futura Condensed, and Kuenstler Script. To differentiate between wines there are three different colors, as well as three different die-cuts. Using only shapes and type, I was able to create an edgy and sleek look.
